Big ups to Fuel’s Jenna Klein for her recent piece on Matuse Family Member, Joel Tudor. Among other topics, her interview with the San Diego born-and-raised Style Master highlights the new Longboarding contest Joel has organized this summer. Joel’s 3-part happening will take place in Huntington during the US Open, in late August at Virginia Beach and cap-off in Montauk from October 12-16. The event will showcase today’s young Longboarding talent while also paying homage to the old timers. Anyways, Jenna’s words are complimented by Todd Glaser’s photo handiwork. Check it. It’s a good look. Click the link below to read the full story.

Matuse Family: ABC4

Dear Matuse Family,

Our opening show on Shark Week. Flat-out, it was an awesome project. Strangely enough, the show rated insanely well. In fact, it rated so well that they say it’s the 5th highest rated Shark Week show of all time. Shark Week started in 1987 – so that’s pretty awesome! I didn’t think it was “all that” but I guess it was entertaining and somewhat raw. Anyways, big thanks again to you gentlemen for the wicked suits – I love ‘em!

As for what else is in the works for me, I just signed a 3-part series contract with Nat Geo for an “extreme cameraman” show. I leave this Sunday for Cape Town to shoot the 1st episode with Great Whites – then onto Polar Bears and then Lions. No question, it will be f*cking awesome! I’m going to dive with the Polar Bears up in the Arctic near the ice floes. Insane. I’m actually more concerned about a Polar Bear eating me than a Great White! Cheers guys! Keep me posted on any cool new suits and/or products you might have so that I can test ‘em out while cruising with the perfect predators!
