Matuse Family: Pat Millin on Surfline

If you are a California surfer you know how good the past couple of swells have been. With conditions getting perfect and swell pumping in everyone who was on it got their share of the dream. Check out some images gathered up and down the coast on Surfline.com’s “Hello Fall!” Matuse Family Member, Pat Millin, tags another lip while testing the new Hoplite 2mm suits that just arrived last week. Pat said “all the minor tweaks and adjustments made the suit perform even better. I didn’t think that was possible.” Check out the new line of Front Zip Tumos as well. If you missed seeing Matuse Family Member, Derek Dunfee’s, Down With The Ship you can catch it next Friday at the California Surf Festival in Oceanside, CA. Friday, Oct. 8 is Big Wave Night and there are V.I.P. tickets available for advanced reserved seating and a dinner where you can meet and talk with many big wave legends. Powerlines Productions will be featuring some amazing big wave footage never before seen and there will also be a film featuring the Todos Santos Big Wave contest. Happening: One Day ShredFest

Shred Fest

Date: Saturday, Oct. 2nd
Location: Lincoln City, Oregon (Either Road’s End or Nelscott Beachbreak. To be determined the day of.)
Time: All Day. Starts at 8am.
Note: Contestants will be getting Jet Ski assistance through the expected large surf. The contest wants to see surfing and not paddling. Should make for exciting heats. Board demos will be available from Lost, Northwest Surf Designs, Sitka and others. Future Fins will also have a large selection to sample.
