Winter time in the Northern Hemisphere means Pipeline. A recent swell produced some epic waves. Matuse Family Member, Jamie Sterling, making the difficult look easy. Recently people have been asking if Jamie has been ‘roiding out…he actually has been wearing a flotation vest under his wetsuits when charging large waves. Reef protection and buoyancy. Not a bad idea.
Fly Gypsy are a DC-based duo with a Jamaican rapper and Russian DJ. These two cuts are from the Vodka & Rum Mixtape which is a great download, if a little brief. Both songs feature sampled verses from other songs by rappers like Nas and 2pac as does most of the mixtape. They have a great laid back feel providing a nice way to sail into the week. They are also terrific in concert, so jump at that if you ever get the chance.

Check out these songs by John Legend. He’s been on Kanye’s GOOD Music label for a while and obviously deserves to be there. He has an incredible voice and is an extremely talented pianist. These three songs should provide a feel to just kick back and enjoy the rest of Thanksgiving weekend. The first track we have for you is Everybody Knows, remixed by RAC. The beat is definitely better on this than the original, but it still maintains a Legend vibe. Second up is Number One featuring Kanye West. This song has a really catchy soul feel, found in all of his work. The last song is Save Room, the song that introduced me to John Legend. It is an excellent throwback of his and definitely a favorite on the playlists. Enjoy!
