Matuse Family Members, Daniel Jones and Flynn Novak, enjoy solid Ala Moana Bowls this past week. Locals said it was the best day in years and most everyone was on it. Daniel and Flynn scored some epic waves and soaked in a great summer day. Unfortunately they didn’t run the contest this year. Happy 4th of July! Hopefully you are getting to grill food, hang at the beach or lake and see some fireworks. The 4th of July is Independence Day and commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It’s when we officially broke from Great Britain’s rule and the parties started. Even though a lot of people might not use this official holiday to recognize this it’s still great to get together with friends and family and enjoy good company, good food and good beverages. So soak up some sun and enjoy the last day of the long weekend.
