Rick Takahashi Sweeps NSSA

Matuse Family Member, Rick Takahashi, once again asserts his dominance on the NSSA circuit. Rick won the Surfing America National title for Masters, and the NSSA Masters and Seniors national titles. All together he won every NSSA this year with a total of 21 wins.

Year totals:
NSSA: regular season wins = 17 straight with no losses (5th consecutive conference title tying Courtney Conlogue’s record)
2- Westcoast titles
2-National titles
1- Surfing America National title (Rick’s first one)
WSA: 1 contest win out of 5 (Rick couldn’t make the other 4 due to scheduling conflicts.)
