Jamie Sterling Places 5th at Pico Alto

Matuse Family Member, Jamie Sterling, placed 5th at the recent Big Wave World Tour event held at Pico Alto, Peru. Contest Director said that the waves ranged in size from 30-50 ft. in height. Peter Mel from Santa Cruz won his first Big Wave event in hi quality giant surf. Jamie Sterling was last year’s winner and did well to make the final again this year among a stacked field.
