Derek Dunfee seen above in a recent online article on ESPN.COM. Click the link to read the full story and view the full gallery. Derek’s been logging some serious time down south and his efforts have been rewarded. Some epic barrels, not to mention the board he is riding aka “Great White”, is a board Derek shaped himself.

Derek has a wave at the 1:40 and 2:15 mark in the video. Look for the green trunks.

Bula Braddas,
Been surfing fun Cloudbreak all day everyday. Nothing big but perfect and lots of fun. The Philo 1mm top is working insane against the reef and sun. An epic jacket for my needs down here in Fiji. I’ve been taking some pictures and skating the Hawk ramp. I’ve attached a few photos I took of my extended Fijian family here on the island.
Thanks for the love, Johnny

In anticipation of the upcoming finals it’s good to take a look at the past and view two of NBA’s greatest. The 2010 NBA finals will add another chapter to the history and rivalry between two great franchises.

Check out the recent video teaser from Matt Donatoni. MJ gets some footage down in Central America. Keep an eye out for the full release in months to come.

Brett Jones, the always timeless man behind the Matuse shark mask, continues to hold it down for psychos worldwide.
Matuse Fam,
Here are some pics of the chopper training at seaside. On a random morning this past winter, I got a call at 9:00AM. It was the lieutenant of the Solana beach lifeguard department, Mr. Jason Shook. He offered me an opportunity to jump from a police helicopter at Seaside. Naturally, my girlfriend and I booked it from PB to Seaside. Obviously I made sure to grab my Matuse hoplite 432! I got there just in time to get a few jumps in and participate in the exercise. The suit kept me warm and safe. Big thanks to Matuse. Super stoked on your products, keep up the good work.
Cheers, Brett Jones

Congratulations goes out to Matuse Family Member, Harley Taich, who won two competitions over this past weekend. Saturday, Harley took down the Pi Beta Phi surf contest at Pacific Beach in sloppy onshore surf (Chloe Buckley also placed in the finals for the contest). Harley then traveled up to Huntington for the NSSA West Coast Championships and won the Women’s division. The contest was held in overhead to double overhead surf. Harley proved she has the skills to win in both small and large surf.

Peep some recent photos taken by Derek Dunfee down in Mexico. Recent South Swells have brought some heavy barrels to the southern regions. Barrel hunters are posted up near Mexico sandbars. For more info and to follow Derek’s adventures visit his blog at http://derekdunfee.com/

Big ups to Matuse Family Member, Grey Lockwood, for the point blank portrait of Todd Glaser. Also pictured: the Hooded Tumo 543. Real ichiban. For more on Lockwood’s photography visit www.greylockwoodphoto.com.
