Dear Matuse Family,
How is it going over there? We’re enjoying epic conditions during these past weeks and we’re shooting tons of material. Tomorrow we’ll be filming another session, but for now I send you a few photos of Paulo Díaz in France. Winter will be here in a month or so and the water is starting to cool down. We’re looking forward to wearing our new Matuse fullsuits.

9th Wonder
Representing North Carolina, call him 9th Wonder, 9thmatic or just plain Patrick Douthit. Whatever the moniker, the dude can get genius at times. His latest album, “The Wonder Years”, was released this past September. With collaborations on it by Warren G, Talib Kweli, Raekwon, Erykah Badu, Mac Miller, and Kendrick Lamar, it’s worth a listen. 9th Wonder has also laid tracks for Jay-Z, Drake, and David Banner—while also having time in his day to be a professor of music at North Carolina Central University. How’s that for some hustle?

The TransparentSea voyage has come to a close and it seems to have been a success for all involved. Awareness was expanded upon and people brought together. In the end the cetaceans of the sea will benefit from the efforts put forth here. Until the next voyage enjoy the videos.

Mikala has the advantage of being within a short boat or plane ride from epic surf on the many islands around his home in Bali.
