Johnny’s recent big wave escapades have received more attention since he’s been nominated for Billabong’s XXL Ride of the Year award. Johnny Maher scored a bomb in Puerto Escondido this past summer which put him in the running for the prestigious award. Matuse Family Member Todd Glaser shot all the photos of Monster which shows off some of Johnny’s wave prowess. We’re super stoked to see Johnny getting some recognition. We knew he had the skills.
