Some recent images from Monster on his latest travel excursion. Below is the accompanying email from Maher.
Hola Matuse Family,
I came down to South America for a solid swell and its been really good. I’ve scored some of longest waves of my life. My timing was perfect. I wish my shots could do the lineup justice. The wave is so long. I can only fit about a quarter of the lineup in the photo. I’d need one of those panoramic fisheye lenses to get it all in.
I’ve been traveling with my new sponsor. She is awesome. My secret weapon. We are getting on a 12 hour bus ride right now to catch a flight further up the coast. I’m chasing a new swell in hopes of scoring a radical looking spot I’ve been scoping out. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Adios, Maher

Congratulations to Chloe for taking down the Surfride Freedom Surf Series held at Mission Beach last Sunday. Chloe battled her way to take top honors once again. There’s one more stop in the series and Miss Buckley is currently rated #1. Best of luck at the next stop and we’re looking for Chloe to take the series title.

You know what this is. No rest for the wicked. None for the gifted. No need to worry about sleepin. Rolling stones gather no moss. Get your Carpe Diem on. White collar or blue collar, put your sleeves up. Idea, pens and paper. Get on it. Make it slow. Make it fast. Make it happen. Chase your passion or your pension. Zero apologies for working. Go hard. Don’t front. All love. No hate. One.

Ryan Burch is known for riding all types of boards and riding them well. Here Burch tests a new longboard he shaped on a small Cardiff peeler. Hang heels and hang tens, he adds style to any size wave he rides.
