WILDCOAST’S SERGE DEDINA ON THE ICHIBAN

Serg Dedina
A recent email received from Serg Dedina of WildCoast. FYI: His hood is not a Matuse.

Dear Matuse,

Just back from my sabbatical to Oz and NZ.

We surfed cold water in Victoria (and great waves at Bell’s and Winki) and extremely cold water (46-48) on the south island of New Zealand.

Wanted to let you know how well the 4/3/2 Hoplite worked. The colder it got the better it performed. In the 46 or so degree water on the south island I was absolutely fine and was able to surf well. The wetsuit is outstanding and incurred a lot of interest on the part of visiting and local Kiwi surfers. I should have bought a Matuse hood prior to leaving (as my boys kept reminding me ).

Anyways, thanks again for the suit. It is by far the best wetsuit I’ve ever owned and surfed in.

The trip videos are at www.youtube.com/surferserge the NZ video is the wild Kiwi one.

Cheers,
