Chris Del Moro Joins the Matuse Family

Matuse, Inc. is proud to welcome surfer and lifestyle connoisseur,
Chris Del Moro to the Company’s stable of riders, The Matuse Family. Del Moro’s fellow Family members include: Mikala Jones, Jamie Sterling, Derek Dunfee, Flynn Novak, Daniel Jones, Jason Frederico, Pat Millin, Zach Plopper and Tyler Reid.

Says Del Moro about the signing: “I couldn’t be more pleased to represent a Company that prides itself on creativity, innovation and limestone-based Yamamoto Geoprene. I look forward to representing Matuse’s ichiban game around the world and spreading some of the Matuse magic.”

Raised in Italy, Del Moro now lives in Leucadia, CA. As part of his globe trotting and free surfing exploits, Del Moro can be seen riding shortboards and longboards with equal skill and passion (Check out the Sliding Liberia trailer on YouTube.com for footage of one of Del Moro’s most recent voyages).

Amazingly, with all of his adventuring, Del Moro also finds time to unleash his creativity as designer, owner and operator of Collectic Apparel. In addition to his surfing, Del Moro will also be providing his artistry to Matuse’s clothing collections.

Says Matuse President & CEO John V. Campbell: “With his talent as both a rider and an artist, Chris is someone who is very blessed. However, considering Chris’ sincerity and energy as a person, having him now as a Company ambassador means that all of us at Matuse are equally as fortunate.”

Matuse, Inc. was founded by John V. Campbell and Chief of Product Design, Matt Larson. As part of their unique relationship with Yamamoto Corporation in Japan, Matuse has exclusive rights to Geoprene Rubber. Geoprene is Warmer (93-98% water impermeable compared to the standard 69%), lasts longer (titanium coated) and is kinder to Mother Nature (made from limestone rock and not oil).
