Dear Matuse Family,

I made my way up to Ventura Friday afternoon for the comp last weekend and I scored a fun sesh out at C street. That session got me vibing and stoked for the comp on Saturday. I was super nervous my first heat after six months off of competing, for a second in the water I envisioned myself losing first round out. I snapped out of it, won that first heat and continued to win the rest of my heats through the final! I was grooving, surfing well and surfing smart. I can’t thank you guys enough for the suits! They are insane…really warm:) and nice and flexible. They felt all smooooth too.
