Dear Matuse Family,

Just got back from opening day at Mavericks with Double D and his trusty jet ski pulling truck. We left early Monday morning, drove all day and got a good nights rest before waking for an early all-day session the next day. Derek packed a couple bombs out there and was showing why he is now on the alternate list for the Jay contest at Mavericks, (soon to be on the competing list!!). Anyways, here’s a few snapshots from our journey up and out on one of the biggest North swells this winter has had to offer!
