Matuse Family Member, Derek Dunfee, lived and produced a short film that chronicles his rise to winning the XXL Big Wave Paddle award 2009 shortly after severely fracturing his leg. You also get a glimpse into massive Puerto Escondido and Mavericks with other legendary big wave surfers that Derek is friends with.
