Art + Function: Black and Whites By Joe Termini

Here is a few snap shots I have taken on this roll of Black and White film. It covers some walking around in NY. A snap shot of the great SanO as well as collage I did. Enjoy.
I save receipt boots polaroid’s, pictures, match books, whatever. Then I kind of put them all together and rephotographed them. There is also one of my favorite Bob Dylan quotes in there.
It may be kooky I know. But I love SanO. It is so much fun to just glide around and surf there. I have a 11ft CC that I glide around on out there. Its so much fun to just trim.
There is this really amazing car spot right around the corner from my Apt. You have to pay a yearly membership to be apart of this car club. They have vintage everything. Once your a member and you pay your dues you can take anyone of there beautiful vintage cars out for a drive. There are always sweet rides sitting out in the street. This is one of them.
Getting around the city can be tricky at times. This shot I took uptown. I was skateboarding in the middle of traffic flying down the hill. I thought I was the man until I clipped a taxi mirror with my hip. I just kept going. I got home and had a big round purple bruise on my hip. It was ugly and hurt like hell.
The road less traveled. Frost right? Well it was late and I was wondering around the village. I saw an open hatch to a basement. I figured I would check out what was down there. If anyone asked I’d say where the hell is the bathroom. I think it was a restaurant so I felt as if I was covered. Exploring is exploring. I went down and saw a few boxes. Turned a corner by this door that was hanging slightly off the hinges. In that room was all these wires. I was down there for like 20 minutes snooping around. Did not see a soul.
