Meet Matuse Family Member Quincy Davis

If you haven’t heard Quincy Davis is a bright upcoming 13 yr old surfer who lives half the year in Montauk, NY and the other half in Puerto Rico. Quincy has recently been nominated to the 2009 USA Team to compete in the ISA World Games.

Quincy’s recent accomplishment was a 2nd place finish in the Corona Extra Pro. Quincy faced off with ex-WCT competitor Karina Petroni in the exciting final. Quincy lost by only 0.77 points. It was an exciting heat and Quincy was happy to come away with a second place.

Quincy also placed 1st in the Open Women’s Division and 1st in the Jr Women’s Division in the Federation of Puerto Rico’s Rincon Event. She has a bright future.

Quincy has been sporting the Matuse SOPHIA top for women. She loves the comfort, freedom and warmth the top provides her. Being only 90 lbs. Quincy can get a chill surfing warm waters. The SOPHIA helps keep her comfortable and surfing all day long. When the new Artemis Full Suit line for women comes out Quincy will be able to stay toasty in the Montauk waters of NY and wherever her competition and surf travels take her.
