Dear Matuse Family,

September sunsets are magical in Zarautz. We strive through the Summer, tourists invade our shores and vital spaces… we start to gain back our normality in September. It’s the price to pay, we live in a beautiful place in the World. Good weather, better food, awesome people make this corner a different paradise.

But September makes it even better. Zarautz goes back to its normal heartbeat, swells slowly start growing and locals regain their spaces. Axel and Paulo Diaz are no exception. Surfing it’s natural for them, Basque roots, where everything is celebrated with a good meal and a fine wine.

Today they shared their home with some friends who arrived from NYC, waves, cheese, cider breaking glasses. Good People, their surf camp, could not be any other, riding Tartalo fine local shaped boards and wearing Matuse… Could not be any other! Matuse team riders, Axel and Paulo Diaz.
