Jeff Durkin – Working Class

San Diego filmmaker Jeff Durkin will be screening his new film “Working Class” at the Pearl Hotel tonight, Dec 6th, from 6-9pm. Working class is a documentary about San Francisco artist Mike Giant and San Diego artist Mike Maxwell. The film will give the audience a peek into their artistic process, their 12-year friendship, and how their city shapes the work they create. Durkin will also be showing the trailer for his new project “Art as a weapon.”- a study on the intersection between street art, Buddhism and human rights in the closed country of Burma. This documentary includes an interview with artist Shepard Fairey.
