Hunter Lysaught In Route

Matuse Family Member, Hunter Lysaught, recently spent some time on the North Shore of Oahu. Unfortunately November was one one of the worst starts to winter one can remember in quite a while. However, Hunter was able to train and surf smaller waves which is great for the WQS circuit. After a month of warm water and small wave shredding Hunter came back to SD. He quickly went up to the Volcom VQS contest at El Porto, Manhattan Beach. Hunter ended up placing 4th in the finals. Not bad considering ex WCT surfer Wardo took down the contest. Keep an eye out for Hunter as he works his way up the WQS ranks.
