Robo is a Fan

Matuse Family Member, Zach Plopper, has been traveling through Europe and been scoring some great waves. On his recent time spent in Spain he ran across an interesting character named Robo. Here’s what Zach wrote.
“Matuse has a dedicated fan in Santander, Spain. His name is Robert Amasuno but you can call him Robo. He is half Canuk, half Spanish and quite possible the funniest human being alive. He loves his Hoplite. You can find him ripping a Spanish north coast beachbreak near you.”
It’s good to see Matuse alive and well in Santander, Spain.
All hail Robo. And thanks to Zach, Robo and Ben for a cool intro to offshore barrels in Cantabria. Robo was our guide and a great guy to know in Santander!!!
And FYI–we met a woman surfing in Mundaka in her brand-new Matuse–she was stoked!
