9th Wonder

Representing North Carolina, call him 9th Wonder, 9thmatic or just plain Patrick Douthit. Whatever the moniker, the dude can get genius at times. His latest album, “The Wonder Years”, was released this past September. With collaborations on it by Warren G, Talib Kweli, Raekwon, Erykah Badu, Mac Miller, and Kendrick Lamar, it’s worth a listen. 9th Wonder has also laid tracks for Jay-Z, Drake, and David Banner—while also having time in his day to be a professor of music at North Carolina Central University.
